revolver therapeutics
about the project
Showing investors what a pitch deck can’t: Creating a company film for University of Bath spinout Revolver Therapeutics designed to engage current and prospective investors.
Revolver Therapeutics was developing peptide therapeutics against transcription factors. These are proteins involved in regulating disease which are difficult to target with conventional drugs.
Its Transcription Block Survival (TBS) platform screens peptides in living cells to identify those that functionally inhibit their target, rather than simply binding to it.
Communication Challenge:
Revolver already had detailed data, papers, and investment materials explaining its TBS platform. What it didn’t have was an asset that communicated the purpose behind the technology. So how do you explain years of complex research in three minutes without flattening it?
Our Solution:
You don’t. When investors already understand the science, they need to see a confident and driven team determined to carry it forward.
We introduced founder and CSO Professor Jody Mason and his colleagues. Each person explained a different part of the company’s origins, platform and development process, while showing why advancing the research mattered to patients.
Rather than designing the film for one investor meeting, we built an asset that could also support future funding announcements, partnership communications and recruitment. When Revolver later announced a £572,000 funding round led by QantX, the film was ready to support its public communications.
Big Ideas,
Real Impact.
The companies changing the world often have the hardest stories to explain.
We help ambitious organisations communicate complex ideas through strategic film production, combining clarity, credibility and cinematic storytelling.
For us, every project starts with a simple conversation: what does your company need to communicate, who needs to hear it, and how can we make that message more powerful?
