Building a patient, clinician and investor campaign for 

OKKO Health

CASE STUDY

OKKO Health needed to communicate one complex proposition to three very different audiences. We created a coordinated series of films designed to build emotional understanding, support clinician engagement and present the company’s investment case clearly.

Communication Challenge

OKKO needed audiences to understand how AMD can affect someone’s professional life and sense of identity. Before introducing their technology, they needed the problem to feel personal and worth solving.

Our Thinking

People connect with patients before they connect with products. By allowing audiences to experience the realities of vision loss through Steven's everyday life, the film establishes the emotional foundation for the wider campaign.

Communication Challenge

OKKO needed to explain a complex proposition to prospective clinicians before an initial sales conversation. The film had to establish credibility quickly, make the value clear and give clinicians a reason to want to know more.

Our Thinking

A relationship can begin before the first sales call. Rather than attempting to answer every question a clinical might have, we designed the film to replicate the experience of meeting OKKO’s CEO in person: a concise, memorable introduction that builds familiarity and creates appetite for a more informed conversation.

Communication Challenge

How do you communicate a complex investment case in two minutes: connecting patient need, the product proposition, market opportunity, commercial progress and what further capital could enable?

Our Thinking

A clear investment story connects the problem, the opportunity and the person leading it.

We structured the film around the CEO, bringing all factors into one concise narrative. This gives investors a clear view of both the business and the person leading it, and a basis for deciding whether to explore the opportunity further.

Results

Within days of launch, the campaign helped open new conversations with investors and clinicians:

  • Investors requested follow-up meetings.

  • Clinicians praised the clarity of the communication and booked calls.

  • Healthcare leaders highlighted the emotional storytelling and production quality.

  • Industry contacts described the work as unlike typical communications within ophthalmology.
