    Reuben leads strategy, producing and directing across projects, working closely with founders, clinicians, researchers and leadership teams to understand what needs to be communicated before deciding how it should be filmed.

    CREATIVE DIRECTOR

    Chris runs HaywoodMedia, and collaborates with Zukas Studio on selected projects, bringing additional creative direction and specialist cinematography. His work helps shape the visual language of a production, from lighting and composition through to camera movement and the overall cinematic approach.

    PRODUCTION CO-ORDINATOR

    Maddison supports selected Zukas Studio productions, coordinating equipment, contributor preparation and on-set logistics, ensuring each production runs smoothly.

    POST - PRODUCTION COLLABORATORS

    We work with a trusted network of editors and post-production specialists across editing, colour grading, motion graphics and VFX, allowing us to build the right post-production team around each project and its deadlines.

Zukas Studio is an independent film production company working across science, health and technology. We help organisations identify the communication challenges standing between their work and the people they need to reach.

Our approach is simple.

We start with the outcome an organisation needs to achieve, identify the people who can make it happen, and build the story that gives them a reason to care and act.

Every project is built around the people it needs.

Led by our founding director Reuben Zukas, we operate as a flexible studio, bringing together the right combination of creative, technical and specialist expertise for each project.

Reuben leads the work throughout, giving clients one point of creative and production responsibility while the wider team changes according to what the project requires.

We believe science, health and technology should be communicated clearly without being distorted for creative effect. For us, that means respecting how technical and clinical environments actually work, being precise about claims and terminology, and treating sensitive information with appropriate discretion.

We are based in Bristol, working across the UK and internationally.
